"There are a lot of rich doctors out there, too, the greedy bastards. Imagine: getting rich by charging people money for their basic needs!

But, y’know, there are needs even more basic than health care. Food, for example. Without food, there’s really very little need for doctors and hospitals. Right? A doctor can’t keep you from starving to death if there’s no food (and if he’s unwilling to open a vein).

So: grocery stores. Sen. Herb Kohl (D-WI). Distribution companies. Trucking companies. Big corporations who make millions – billions – by processing and selling food products to the people who would starve without them.

Farmers, for crying out loud. No, farmers aren’t getting rich. Most of them, anyway. Not in my neck of the woods. They’re mostly family farms around here, and they struggle to make ends meet.

And that’s a good thing, from Farrell’s point of view. From his millionaire Hollywood friends’ point of view. How dare farmers want to make more money? People need that food – don’t they know that?

Who is to say who makes too much money? Is it up to the left to tell butchers, bakers, candlestick makers and farmers how much they can earn? What they can buy? And the loony left keeps marching on and people keeps putting lefties in office.
