"Newpage posts $117 million loss

ESCANABA - NewPage recently announced it's company-wide year-end financial results, showing a net loss greater than 14 times the previous year's loss, say company officials who are making adjustments to ride out the recession.
During a conference call via the company's Web site Thursday, company officials stated NewPage Corporation experienced a net loss of $117 million in 2008 compared to a net loss of $8 million in 2007."
