Oil Rises Above $135 After U.S. Crude, Gasoline Supply Decline

May 22 (Bloomberg) -- Crude oil rose to a record above $135 a barrel in New York on concerns of insufficient supply after a government report showed U.S. stockpiles unexpectedly dropped.
Crude oil for July delivery rose as much as $1.87, or 1.4 percent, to $135.04 a barrel in after-hours trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It was at $134.87 a barrel at 9:15 a.m. Singapore time.
